São Paulo – Nine auto industry investment agreements have been signed this Wednesday (23) in Tangier, Morocco by the Ministry of industry and Trade and several industry players. The deals amount to MAD 441 million (USD 43.5 million), Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP) has reported.
The projects are seen creating 2,122 jobs and MAD 2.268 billion (USD 224 million) in revenue by 2020. The deals provide for the opening of new companies or for expansion of existing manufacturers of auto cables, equipment and accessories, injection molding, acoustics and sealing, and rubber and plastic parts.
