São Paulo – The total number of vehicles in Brazil reached 42.6 million automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses in 2015, up 2.5% from 2014, the National Auto Parts Industry Union (Sindipeças) reported this Thursday (19th).
The average vehicle age was 8 years and 11 months in 2015, up from 8 years and 8 months in 2014. That means less brand-new vehicles were sold in 2015 than in 2014.
As of last year, there were 13.6 million motorcycles in Brazil.
