Paint industry in Brazil posted record performance in 2007
For the first time, the sector sold more than 1 billion litres in a single year. Revenues totalled 4.7 billion reals (US$ 2.6 billion). The civil construction boom, the record-high vehicle production and the growth of Brazilian industry as a whole contributed to boost paint sales.
