São Paulo – Petrobras announced today (19th) the signing of five contracts, for the value of 2.89 billion reals (US$ 1.3 billion), for the construction of Abreu e Lima Refinery, in the state of Pernambuco, in the Northeast of Brazil.
The contracts involve all edifications of the mill, the construction of the oil storage tanks, intermediary and final products, the supply of electrical equipment and the installation of a water treatment station.
The delivery time of the agreements ranges from 638 to 1,260 days. The companies hired, according to Petrobras, are EIT and Engevix (buildings), Techint, Usiminas, Confab, Alusa, Galvão and Tome (tanks), Orteng (electric equipment) and Enfil and Veolia (water treatment stations).
