Algiers – In his final address in Algeria, before leaving, president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva invited businessmen from the country to visit Brazil after partnerships and to learn about the Brazilian market.
According to Lula, there are excellent Brazilian institutions with capacities to increase cooperation between both countries in agriculture, vigilance of the territory, health and energy, among others.
"We want Algeria to be a Brazilian partner in the construction of a world that is at the height of the aspirations of our people, who fight for the right to dream of a better future. We are two countries that have much to offer each other," he said.
Lula also commemorated the retaking of Brazilian company activities in Algeria, in areas like civil construction, the automotive industry and the oil sector.
Algeria is the first of four countries that president Lula is visiting on the African continent. At 01:00 pm (Brasília time, 04:00 pm in Algiers) Lula was scheduled to leave to Cotonou, the seat of the government of Benin.
