São Paulo –The Randon conglomerate, comprising nine companies, had a consolidated net income of R$ 369.1 million (around US$164.8 million) in March, 3.8% higher than in the same month last year. According to information released by the company, in Q1 2014 the accumulated net income reached R$ 965.9 million (roughly US$ 431.3 million), 0.9% lower than in Q1 2013.
The total gross income of the conglomerate (no deductions and with taxes) was R$ 550.8 million (around US$ 245.9 million) last March, 0.5% lower than in the same month in 2013. In Q1, it amounted to R$ 1.5 billion (around US$ 0.669 billion) and was 4.2% lower than in the same period in the previous year. The companies of the group operate in the vehicles and implements, parts and financial services segments.
