São Paulo – Business in the Arab world and the best ways to sell there are the theme of the talk to be given by Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce CEO Michel Alaby to businessmen in Ribeirão Preto next Tuesday (12). The meeting will take place at the Ribeirão Preto Trade and Industry Association (Acirp) in the city in the interior of São Paulo.
In talk "How to negotiate with the Arabs”, Alaby should present the economic characteristics of the main importers and exporters of the Middle East and North Africa and provides clues as to how to negotiate with them.
Alaby should also explain the part played by the Arab Brazilian Chamber in trade relations between Brazil and the 22 Arab nations and how it can help companies sell to the region.
After the meeting with the local businessmen and with the board at Acirp, Alaby should complete an agenda of meetings in the city. He will meet with the mayor of Ribeirão Preto, Dárcy Vera, before visiting dentistry equipment producer Gnatus, a company that already exports to the Arab nations.
"it is a chance to take the Arab Brazilian Chamber to a great agricultural machinery production centre and to make information about the Arab world available to local businessmen,” said Alaby, remembering that the Ribeirão Preto region is an important hub for production of sugar, an item that is prominent in the ranking of products exported by Brazil to the region.
