São Paulo – Two liquid bulk terminals in Santarém, Pará were auctioned this Thursday morning (23). Consórcio Porto Santarém, a consortium formed by Petróleo Sabbá and Petrobras Distribuidora, placed the winning bid at BRL 68.2 million (USD 22 million) for a 25-year concession.
The Brazilian federal government said 25% of the amount will be paid upon the contract’s signing, with the remainder to be supplied in four installments. The consortium will also invest an additional BRL 29.8 million in expanding gasoline, ethanol and diesel supply talks in both terminals.
