São Paulo – The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) reported that it will promote, along with the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), a seminar on attracting foreign investments. The event is scheduled for this Thursday (22nd) and Friday (23rd) at CNI’s headquarters in Brasília.
The goal is to train professionals on investments attraction. The target audience is technicians of state secretariats of Development, Industry and Trade, and representatives of industry federations of the state level.
According to the MDIC, among the speakers will be Henry Lowendal, CEO of Wavteq, a company that offers products and services for the development of foreign direct investments (FDI), and Chris Knight, commercial director at fDiIntelligence, which also operates in the FDI sector.
According to the Ministry, they will share their analysis on Brazil and will present ways to increase the rhythm of investments attraction. Knight will take part also on consulting meeting with those participating to talk about attraction of capital and international partnerships.
Still according to MDIC, there will be lectures by representatives of the Ministry itself, from CNI, Itamaraty, of the Ministries of Planning and Agriculture and from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
