São Paulo – Shoe brand and retailer Shoestock inspired itself on the Moroccan market, in the Arab countries of North Africa, to create its high-summer collection. The brand from São Paulo sought in the architecture and culture of the African nations the elements to create hot season shoes. The company brings to mind the hot ethnic and delicate atmosphere of Morocco, as well as the seduction and enigma, present in its shoes.
Products for the summer are divided into Work, Classical, Contemporary and Youth styles, with many sandals, flip-flops, peep toes and sandals. According to Shoestock, the laser cut out design and embroidery in the shoes is inspired on the mosharabi, typical details of the architecture of Morocco.
Some of the colours used to compose the collection recall the Arab country, with skin tones and burnt caramel. Also included are Egyptian blue, ocean coral, silver and rose, as well as tones of black and rose water, with silver metal, caramel and gold. Also used were snake prints and crumpled metal, as well as crystals in the sandals.
The company sells its products in three shops in the city of São Paulo, as well as on the internet. The first unit was open in 1986 and the second in 2007. Two years later, Shoestock inaugurated its operation for sale on the internet, and in 2011 it opened its third physical shop. The brand sells female, male and kid’s shoes, as well as accessories. It also sells its products at multi-brand shops in Brasil.
