São Paulo – The textile and clothing industry in Brazil’s São Paulo state grossed USD 242 million in export revenues from January to September this year, the São Paulo State Textile and Clothing Industry Union (Sinditêxtil-SP) reported this Wednesday (21st). Revenues dropped 15.5% from USD 287 million a year ago.
Imports amounted to USD 1.26 billion, down 8.5%. The resulting trade deficit was USD 1.02 billion.
