In an interview to Agência Brasil, the president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Sarkis Jr., discussed the agreement recently signed between the organization and the Brazilian Foreign Office (Itamaraty), to proceed with the decisions taken at the Brasília Summit, and the meeting of ministers of the economic area of the Arab world and of South America, which is going to take place in Ecuador.

The document signed between the Brazilian Association of Shoe and Leather Components Industries (Assintecal) and the National Federation of Shoe and Leather Industries of Tunisia have the objective of promoting sales of Brazilian inputs to industries in the Arab country. This is a concrete result of the work of the Brazil Tunisia Business Council, of which the Arab Brazilian Chamber is part.
