A foreign trade congress and exhibition are taking place this Tuesday (11th) and Wednesday (12th) in São Paulo’s metropolitan area. The Chamber will have a stand to introduce the Arab market to executives.

The Brazilian president is attending a meeting with the country’s emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani. This is her first trip to an Arab country and her first foreign trip after being re-elected.

A group of diplomats and representatives of the Arab Chamber will be in the Northeastern Brazilian state on the 10th and 11th to speak with authorities and businessmen. The goal is to present business opportunities.

The United States currency ended the week selling for 2.563 Brazilian reais, the highest value since April 20th, 2005. To date in 2014, the dollar has appreciated by 8.73%.
