Up to the end of the year, producer Rubens Acosta intends to export 60,000 saplings of ludisias (a kind of orchid) to Holland and the United States. For 2006 the expectation is to export 100,000 units. The species is different from the remaining orchids due to its leaves, which are burgundy (dark red) with golden stripes.
